Thermaltake’s New Monitor Lineup

CES 2026 saw Thermaltake introduce a compelling new range of gaming monitors designed to elevate the visual experience for PC enthusiasts. The company’s focus appears centered on delivering both high resolution and advanced features, resulting in two distinct models that target different segments within the gaming market.

The DQHD 49-Inch Curved OLED Monitor

Leading the lineup is the DQHD, a monumental 49-inch curved OLED monitor boasting a 5120x1440 resolution and a striking 32:9 aspect ratio. This expansive display is engineered for immersive gaming and content consumption. Key specifications include a rapid 240Hz refresh rate, achieved through an OLED panel, alongside a remarkably low 0.03ms response time – promising minimal motion blur. The monitor’s color accuracy is underscored by DCI-P3 coverage of 99%, providing vibrant and nuanced hues.

Beyond its core display capabilities, the DQHD incorporates several premium features. A built-in KVM switch allows users to seamlessly control multiple computers with a single keyboard and mouse. Connectivity options are comprehensive, featuring a USB Type-C port supporting Power Delivery (PD) up to 90W for charging laptops and other devices. Furthermore, it includes two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 output.

Compatibility with modern graphics cards is ensured through support for NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync technologies, mitigating screen tearing and stuttering for smooth gameplay. The DQHD’s MSRP is set at $899.99, with anticipated availability commencing in Q1 2026.

It's capable of operating at either 4K resolution with a maximum refresh rate of 160Hz or FHD resolution with a boosted rate of 320Hz. HDR400 certification adds to the visual fidelity, and it includes two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 output.

Like its larger counterpart, this monitor incorporates USB Type-C (PD 15W) for versatile connectivity. A customizable RGB ambient lighting system, controlled through Thermaltake’s dedicated software suite, allows users to personalize the monitor's appearance. Finally, it maintains compatibility with NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync standards.
