Thursday, June 4th 2026 Team Group SSDs and Flash Storage Products at Computex 2026: An SSD with Liquid Cooling Computex by btarunr Today, 03:51 Discuss (0 ) Team Group brought its latest SSDs and flash storage products to Computex 2026. We are greeted by the new T-Force Liquid II M.2 Gen 5 NVMe SSD. These feature a self-contained liquid cooling loop. A slab of metal pulls heat from the SSD, which it dissipates to a coolant that's ventilated by a 20 mm fan. The cooling action is based on the vaporization of this coolant. Next up, is the T-Force Z54E, a high-end M.2 NVMe Gen 5 SSD offering capacities of up to 4 TB, and sequential read speeds of up to 14.9 GB/s, with sequential write speeds of up to 14 GB/s, pushing the limits of the interface (counting overhead). Team Groups also showed off a concept metal heatsink for M.2 SSDs with a carbon fiber-styled decal. Perhaps the star attraction is the T-Create Master AI 16E, the company's first PCI-Express Gen 6 SSD that comes in capacities of 7.68 TB, 12.8 TB, and 15.36 TB, utilizing 3D TLC NAND flash. It offers sequential reads of up to 28 GB/s, with up to 14 GB/s sequential writes. The T-Create AI Classic H514 is a performance-segment M.2 Gen 5 SSD targeting the creator crowd. It's powered by an SMI SM2508 controller with DRAM cache, and uses 3D TLC NAND flash, with sequential reads of up to 14.2 GB/s, and up to 13.3 GB/s sequential writes. Team Group also showcased SSDs in enterprise form-factors such as E1.S and 2.5-inch with U.2 Gen 5 2x2. Winding things up in the SSD front is the T-Create Master AI i514U, a drive in the 2.5-inch 15 mm drive that offers 14 GB/s sequential reads with 10 GB/s sequential writes, utilizing a U.2 Gen 5 2x2 interface. We now move on to Team Group's vibrant new lineup of portable SSDs. The T-Create Expert P33 E-ink is a portable SSD with a low-power E-ink display that puts out stats such as drive utilization, wear, interface connected, volume labels, etc. Since it's E-ink, the display persists even when it's unplugged. The drive comes in 512 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB capacities, and utilizes USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) interface, with sequential speeds of up to 1000 MB/s. It measures 112 mm x 52 mm x 17 mm (LxWxH), weighing 84 g. The T-Create Expert P35S is a portable SSD meant for sensitive data storage. It features a self-destruct function—with a two-step physical mechanism on the drive, all its data can be permanently, and irrecoverably destroyed. The drive measures 100 mm x 50 mm x 18 mm, weighing 99 g. It comes in 512 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB variants, and features a 10 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, with 1000 MB/s sequential speeds on offer. The T-Create Expert P32 Desk is a high-capacity external SSD meant to sit on your desk and augment the storage of your notebook. It measures 110 mm x 65 mm x 26 mm weighing 261 g—almost the dimensions of a portable HDD from the 2000s. It comes in 8 TB and 16 TB capacities, and features a 20 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface, offering up to 1800 MB/s sequential transfers. Team Group showcased its ECO series of USB flash drives that extensively use recycled materials, such as recycled plastic and steel in the product, and recycled paper and blister film in the product packaging. The X3 ECO is a 5 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 1 flash drive that has type-C and type-A connectors, and comes in capacities of 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB, offering up to 100 MB/s of sequential transfers.
