AMD Says "15 out of 15" CPUs in the Best Selling Amazon Processors are AMD CPUs As Intel's Best Chips Continue to Decline in Rankings After having boasted about the CPU share reaching 45% on the Steam Hardware Survey, AMD is back again. AMD's Senior Director of Marketing has posted a tweet saying, "15 out of 15 incredible CPU lineup @AMD", while sharing a screenshot that shows all the top 15 best-selling CPUs on Amazon US are from AMD. We checked and saw that the Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus sits at the 13th position at the moment. These fluctuations in rankings are quite frequent, but AMD won't be wrong to say that they dominate the top 15 positions on the Amazon Best Seller list. As shared by @SasaMarinkovic As far as the AMD top-selling CPUs are concerned, there hasn't been a significant change in the rankings. We still see the Ryzen 7 9800X3D at the number one spot, selling like hotcakes at $449. Since the launch of the Ryzen 7 9850X3D, the processor has often seen price reductions, but the 9850X3D itself sits in the 17th position, despite having claimed the "best gaming processor" title. Best Selling CPUs List Amazon US as of now AMD Ryzen 5 5500 sells as many units as the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and has stayed in the second position for quite some time now. There are multiple Ryzen 5000 series processors in the top 15 list, including newer chips like Ryzen 7 5800XT and some older budget offerings like Ryzen 5 5600 and Ryzen 5700X. The X3D processors are usually sold more than their non-X3D counterparts, which is why the Ryzen 7800X3D and Ryzen 9 9950X3D are still in the top 10 while their non-X3D variants don't belong in the top 15 category. On the other hand, Intel has been doing decent with the launch of Arrow Lake Refresh chips, particularly the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, which brings the same core/thread count as the flagship Core Ultra 9 285K, but offers superior gaming performance for a much lower price. Unfortunately for AMD, the recently launched Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 is in 25th position, as it failed to deliver any significant gains over the 9950X3D, and costs far more.
