Having a single manufacturer will raise the quad-curved display’s price, which is why LG could be added to the supplier list in 2028. The IZO cathode layer is expected to be mass produced at one of LG’s new facilities, with Samsung also aiming towards building these manufacturing plants to keep up with Apple’s demand.
