The company brought a big lineup of PSUs and CPU coolers to Computex 2026. The new PRO series PSUs from ASRock address the mainstream-thru-performance segments of the market, providing features such as full-modular cabling, 80 Plus Gold efficiency, and Cybenetics A+ acoustic rating at mainstream price-points. These ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 CEM-ready PSUs come in 750 W, 850 W, and 1000 W variants, all three of which offer 600 W-capable 12V-2x6 connectors. The PSUs use 135 mm fans, with under 20 dB noise output for the 1000 W variant, and under 15 dB for the 750 W variant. ASRock is backing these PSUs with a generous 10-year product warranty. A notch above, is the new ASRock Steel Legend series, which comes in 850 W, 1000 W, and 1200 W variants, offering 80 Plus Platinum and Cybenetics Platinum-rated switching efficiency, along with Cybenetics A+ acoustics for the 850 W and 1000 W variants; Cybenetics A acoustics for the 1200 W variant. These PSUs offer temperature protection on the 12V-2x6 connectors, with dual color connectors that let you visually see proper connection by contrasting against the graphics card's connector; and thicker 16 AWG wires on each of the 12 power pins of the 12V-2x6 connector. Next up, is the ASRock Phantom Gaming series with which the company debuted its PSU series in 2024. At Computex, we saw their Phantom Gaming SFX PSU that offers a cool 850 W of power with 80 Plus Platinum efficiency, and Cybenetics A++ acoustics, with under 15 dB of noise output. The PSU exceeds the ATX 3.1 + PCIe 5.1 CEM specification, tolerating excursions of 235%. Since Phantom Gaming is positioned above Steel Legend, the feature-set is a bit more extensive. The 12V-2x6 cable has thermal diodes on both ends, and when the PSU detects overheating on the cable, it trips. ASRock reserved the Taichi brand for its high-Wattage PSU series. Models include 2600 W, 3000 W, and 3200 W. All three come with four 12V-2x6 cables, each with Temp Guard sensors and 16 AWG wires on the 12 power-delivery pins. You also get 80 Plus Platinum efficiency when connected to 230 V mains. Excursion tolerance is rated at 200%.
