With World of Warcraft: Midnight War* nearing its climax, Blizzard’s publisher has launched a time-limited competition that rewards fans for creativity, nostalgia, and deep lore knowledge. The Midnight War Board Challenge opens at on 12 February 2026 and runs for 13 days, closing at on 24 February. Twelve UK-based winners will each receive a £129.99 World of Warcraft: Midnight Collectors Edition—a limited-release bundle featuring exclusive in-game content and physical media.
The competition isn’t just about luck; it tests players’ engagement with the game in four distinct ways. From capturing in-game moments at the stroke of midnight (game clock) to assembling a dream team for the Fight at Midnight* raid, each challenge offers a different lens into WoW fandom.
Four Challenges, One Shot at Glory
- Screenshot Challenge: Prove you’re still up at midnight by snapping a screenshot of your character’s location when the in-game clock hits 00:00.
- Knowledge Challenge: Answer a World of Warcraft trivia question—no spoilers, no hints, just pure Azeroth expertise.
- Party Challenge: Name any four WoW characters you’d recruit for the Fight at Midnight raid. Classic picks? Unconventional choices? The draw doesn’t judge—it just needs creativity.
- NPC Challenge: Pose with your favorite non-player character in Azeroth for a screenshot. Whether it’s Thandor the Inscription Master or a random tavern bartender, the more memorable, the better.
Players can enter one to four challenges, but all submissions must be consolidated into a single Google Form entry by the deadline. While entering multiple challenges increases odds, winners are still limited to one prize—no double-dipping allowed.
Entry is straightforward: submit via the official Google Form when it goes live on 12 February. Key rules include
- Only one entry per household, regardless of challenge count.
- No automated submissions—manual entries only.
- Late or incomplete submissions are automatically disqualified.
- All entries become the property of the organizers and may be featured on social media or the website.
Winners will be randomly selected on 25 February using a computerized draw, with three winners per challenge. Notification arrives via email within 10 days of the closing date, followed by a 15-day delivery window for prizes. Non-responsive winners risk forfeiting their prize to an alternate entrant.
Fine Print: What You Need to Know
Eligibility is restricted to UK residents aged 18+, excluding employees of the organizers or Blizzard. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable, with no cash alternative. If the Collector’s Edition is unavailable, an equivalent value replacement will be offered. Future PLC and Blizzard disclaim liability for delivery delays beyond their control.
The competition is not affiliated with Instagram or Facebook, and all decisions are final. For full terms, standard competition policies apply.
With just over two weeks until the deadline, WoW* fans have a rare chance to turn their passion into a tangible reward—whether it’s flexing their lore knowledge, curating the ultimate raid party, or simply proving they’re still awake at Azeroth’s midnight hour.
